All our riders are from the communities, depending on where we do the walk. We make sure to employ responsible people who take what they do seriously. This way, they do a great job transporting everyone’s items along the trail with mules and take care of getting your gear safely to each campsite where it will be waiting for you.
Peru Travel Luxury provides all the mountain equipment and uniforms for the muleteers. These guys can be a huge help in an emergency because they know the area and follow the trail like the back of their hand.

They have hundreds of thousands of hikes along the routes of Peru under their belt, thousands of trips to Machu Picchu, many nights sleeping under the stars and they have done almost every activity there is. They couldn’t be more willing to introduce you to the places they call home.
We understand how important a nutritious and abundant meal is after a challenging day of hiking through the routes that Peru offers.
That is why we employ chefs with years of experience cooking on the fly and extensive knowledge of ingredients and nutrition, as well as special meals such as vegetarian and vegan and taking into account the restrictions of each tourist. That way, they can offer hearty and varied meals, with only the freshest ingredients and lots of flavors.
When hiking, food is one of the most important parts. We understand this and always carry nutritious, well-balanced meals with us when we travel. The majority of our meals are buffet style. We offer you a wide variety of local dishes so you can try the food of the region, which is also rich in nutrients.
Only expert mountain chefs prepare the dishes and many of our hikers have rated their dishes higher than many traditional restaurants in the cities.
On the hikes we have private camps away from other groups and in some cases accommodation with local families for a truly unique experience.
You won’t have to worry about being surrounded by other large groups and you can enjoy the peace and tranquility of our exclusive sites.
Get a good night’s sleep in our spacious Eureka tent. All of our tents are built for four people, but you’ll only need to share them with one other hiker. This leaves plenty of room to relax comfortably.
